Help me and my little chicken please. A week ago I noted that one of my chickens was limping around. She wasn't putting any weight on her right Leg/foot. I have been keeping her in a dog kennel since then. She is eating normally but when I let her out of the kennel, she is walking on her closed foot: like walking on a closed fist.

I've given her 1/2 an aspirin a day for the past three days but she doesn't seem to be getting better. Then again, she doesn't seem to be getting worse either. Any ideas on how I can help her?

Sometimes curled toes can be from a vitamin deficiency, riboflavin specifically. I would supplement with the B vitamins (you can use a human B complex tablet ground and mixed into food) to see if you get any improvement. The longer it remains curled the more likely it is to become permanent. You may need to splint the foot/toes to help keep the toes in a normal position, this link explains how to do that, scroll down to where it discusses riboflavin and curled toes, directly below that is how to make chick shoes, or splints to help correct it. https://sites.google.com/a/poultrypedia.com/poultrypedia/poultry-podiatry
If it is an injury rather than vitamins the same splinting method will work.
