chicken zapper!!!

My wire runs along the outside of a chickenwire enclosure and doesn't touch the chicken wire so my birds never get zapped. Only animals on the outside of the enclosure get zapped

We've run electric fence at the outside base of our coop. My DH forgot to turn it off before renewing water yesterday, and Zorro bolted for the door and ZAP!

He ran screaming into the neighbor's yard (literally, screaming "OW, OW, OW" --sad and funny at the same time!)

This is his second ZAP, and he is no worse for wear...He's a Black Rosecomb Bantam.

..took us some time to round him back up. Luckily, he did not seem to associate his ZAP with us!

well here is a blessing...

we plugged it in and *Nothing* the thing is brand new from the store and it didnt work.. so we get to take it back.. and I can look for one that is for sure pulsing..
