Chicken Zoomies (with video included)!

I didn't know chicks liked to run around and jump on each other. It's almost like watching puppies play

(although by now I gave up on my carpet, I still vacuum it, but I'll shampoo it when the chicks move outside)

And onto the chicks!

So cute! My 3 week old EE's are like that! Today was their first full day out in the yard and they are so spunky. I had to clip their wings because I was afraid I'd lose them come time to bring them in this evening. They're so flighty right now! They were play-fighting a little bit and it was really cute. How can you take two chicks puffing up at each other very seriously?

I understand the carpet situation! I have a carpeted garage where I keep my chickens in their crates at night until my coop is finished. The previous house owners carpeted in because they ran a daycare in there. it's nice at times, but inconvenient for us at times like these!
