Help my chicken keeps putting his neck up and down and opening his mouth like he is trying to suck in air he is an RIR don’t know age

Did this start suddenly or has it been a gradual process ? Have you checked to see if something is caught in his throat ?

If you have had him that long, I doubt that he is dealing with an infectious problem. Does he do this frequently or only after eating ?

Are you sure he's not just trying to crow? Because it seems like that is what he's trying to do.
