My brown shaver~Reddy seems to have broken her hip she limps a bit but not always. She cannot jump onto the roosts anymore

. She hunches most of the day and her abdomen seems to be swollen. She is 3yrs old so not laying anymore. The pain doesn't seem to hurt her that much. I suspected she had worms but I wormed all the chooks once then found worms in the chickens dropings~thinking it was Reddy I gave her some more ivomec worming stuff~which is 1yr old.
What should I do??????

Also when she was a young chook she layed massive eggs~double yolkers!!!

But this might have stuffed her up??

She used to hunch all day but then seemed to go back to normal after we gave her a warm bath because we suspected egg bound but after 2-3 periods like this she is now being weird 24-7......she seems to be coming alright but then.......no?

She is always going to sleep in the middle of the lawn

Poor girl. Ivomec is not good for worms nowadays because worms have built up resistance to it. Albendazole, fenbendazole, praziquantel, and levimisole are still good ones to use. Your hen may be suffering from a crop problem from her pictures, but she sounds like she may have egg yolk peritonitis or internal laying from your description. Hunching can be a sign of coccidiosis too, or many other things.
