I play the violin too! What have you been playing lately?

Well a little bit out of the Suzuki method books like Minuet, Gavotte, etc. and "Egan's Polka". Parts I know from "The Devil Went Down to Georgia" and been playing along with "Revalation Song" sang by Kari Jobe for at church.
What all kinds of music do you play?
I was kinda stuck with classical for the longest time and kinda taught myself some worship, hymns, and christian contemporary.

Great! What book in Suzuki are you in? I am supposed to be in book 8 but I don't do Suzuki anymore... I play bluegrass, classical, hymns, and a few other things like that.

Those are neat pictures!
Mind if I join in on your chat thread? Mine only is me and MP

I only began the second book before I quit playing 4 years ago. In 2014 I traded my half size violin rental for a full size that i now ow and started playing again. Last year we found out though that my 40 year old vViolin teacher had a heart attack and died. The other two suzuki teachers in this area are all booked. So I'm teaching myself and I got to the end of book 2. Contemplating going for book 3. Do you do vibrato? I've played a total of 6 years, but i just can't seem to get it. My wrist refuses :p

Hey good job! Yes I can vibrato. Start slowly and then speed up when you practice!

I have two roosters that are fighting each other in my pen. They used to be best friends but now they are beating each other up. Should I separate them?
