*sigh* I don't always hate math, but math always hates me. I can't do anything in my head. Ever. It drives me crazy.


BUT!

I found this meme awhile back (I think it's somewhere on Summer's thread), but it was way over my head, so I asked dad to solve it. I went like this:
Jusin Bieber is thrown horizontally at 10 m/s (meters per second) from the top of a cliff 122.5 m high (366ft high)
How long does it take Justin to reach the ground?
What is the horizontal displacement (how far was he actually from the cliff - i think)?
What is Justin's final velocity (how fast was he going when he hit the ground)?

ANSWER:

It takes him 5 seconds to hit the ground
He was 50m from the cliff (150ft)
And he was going 49m/s when he hit the ground - basically.... 147 feet per second!!!
