Oh no chickenlover I'm so sorry! Losing any animal is really tough! I found this in a vets office once, just replace the word "dog" with "cat". I still is means the same to me, even though cats can be moody sometimes.

Poppy IS a girl!
Beila the golden sebright IS a girl!
Stella the porcelain d'Uccle IS a girl!
My Black copper maroon is a boy.
Two of the EEs are girls.
Chip my little Banty EE is a boy. I'm so disappointed about that one.
New Hampshire red is a definite boy. He has had big red comb and waddles ever since we got them.
Slippers, willow, and Lizy the silkie's look like boys, just by how big their legs are and how dark their skin is plus the way they act.
Misty the other silkie looks like a girl, she's very sweet doesn't have dark skin, has small legs, and overall she just looks like a she.
The light brahma is a boy.
Other than those the rest are like ify.
So now we have 7 eggs incubating due to hatch in 20 eggs. They are for some friends who would like chickens. I put all round eggs in so I'm hoping that at least 4 turn out to be girls because that's how many they want.
