Chickenlover200's flock

He seems to be. My dad is the only one who has seen him do his "rooster business" though

he won't do anything rooish in front of me. Maybe he thinks I still think he's a girl... Or he's gender confused having hen feathers

Haha! He's probably best that way.

T.Roo was AWFUL! Not only did he rip a wound in Alex's neck that wrapped around, but he also scarred one of our Wyandotte's combs. Thank goodness he was slaughtered before Christmas last year.

I've only ever gotten attacked once by a roo. He's dead now. Had a seizure.
Awwwww, that's such a sad way to go.

One of my indoor cats, Maverick, has a really bad seizure problem. We've had him 5 years of his 6 1/2 -year-old life, and he never had seizures until last year. Anyway, they're quite severe to the point where I had to put him on meds to keep him from hurting himself or accidently peeing on himself.

Thanks! :)  I thought he was beautiful, too, but the cons outweighed the pros when it came to T.Roo. The real reason we got rid of him was because he attacked me when he turned 6 months. :(

Our first rooster attacked me a few times but he attacked my little sister more than anyone else. She was the one who made us keep him! He died at 3 years old. My bantam brahma rooster started attacking us a while after the first roo died, I let him know i was the boss, he only does it about once a month now.

The roosters I have now are pretty friendly except for one. I could pick wings up and Carry him around all day :lau

Yeah, that was another concern that forced us to make the decision we did concerning T.Roo's fate. I've got 2 little brothers who are vulnerable to attacks, and it's best not to take chances that someone would get seriously hurt.

Good for you! Hopefully our 9 little cockerels will turn out to be sweethearts.
