chickenlover22345's bantam breed thread

This thread is about different breeds of bantams, including the Sebright, Pekin Bantam, Barbu d'Anvers and Barbu d'Uccle. Anyone is welcome to talk about bantams and their breeds, and your experience on owning them.

These are some of our silkies last winter. They have feathered feet, which insulates them but also have to be careful as snow/ice can get easily stuck to their feet too. We heat their coop to 40F so they, their eggs, and their water doesn't freeze. They'll come out on nice days in the winter.

We've had only silkies for about 7 years or so.
