Chickens and Bees?

I am wanting to start a couple hives of bees in the spring. I would like to put the bees near the chicken yard. Are there any issues I should be aware of?

This is something I'm wondering about, too. I know at least one of my hens, Dora, eats a lot of the stinging insects: wasps and bees. But I don't think she could get a whole hive... And why would the bees go after a chicken?

I have no issues with my chickens and bees. Granted they are about 150ft away from one another, but the chickens do free range when I'm home and have never bothered them.

I wouldn't think my chickens could eat enough bees to make a difference. I have two acres of land, but the ideal site (direct sun and wind protection) for the bees is near the chickens.

I have mine in the same yard. Just on the other side of some tall pampas type grass.

No problems whatsoever. Just my experience.
