Chickens and children in TN

Hey there. We are Jeremy and Emily (Emily posting) and we have 6 children ages 13 to 5 and we homestead and homeschool.

We currently have 13 cornish cross 2 week old chicks (who I don't think are healthy) and 11 layers and 1 rooster (who might have coccidia), 2 lab puppies, and 1 cat.

I am excited connecting here and hoping to calm some of my chicken health fears. We love our layers and rooster. They are like pets.
