I had about an hour drive home with my girls after buying them. They rode silently for the first 20-25 minutes, then I plugged in my iPod to an audio book. Thomas Hardy's "Return of the Native" read by the deliciously voiced Alan Rickman, they softly clucked and purred the rest of the way home. As my friend said "I want to lay an egg too whenever I hear Alan Rickman's voice"....

My chicks like Amy Winehouse. I play her songs all the time for them. I have her on my ring tone doing " You know I'm No Good". I play that for then and they all stop, cock their heads and look at me like i'm nuts. What's up with that?? Woody

Our little girls (two weeks old) LOVE Bach's fugues !!! I just discovered this a couple days ago... when I put it on, they all stopped, looked, and slowly sank to the ground and fell asleep. So sweetly dreaming....

That is adorable! I should try playing music for the girls.​

When I got them, I was taking them home in my car & as youd expect they were all clucking away because of the unfamiliar surroundings. I put some Dream Theater on & they all settled down & went to sleep.
