There was recently some strong storms around where I live and I noticed my chickens were extending their necks up and opening their mouths, similar to a baby bird begging for food. I have never owned chickens before and I was just wondering if this was a normal reaction to being nervous. At first I was worried bc i only noticed my silkie doing it and then when another storm rolled in I saw all the other doing the same. Is this some kind of nervous twitch??
