Hey guys have any of you dealt with worms in your birds? What is the most effective way to deal with them? I have a bunch of young birds that appear to be doing alright but I am worried that they might contract it later on from the area or possibly from the larger birds that have the worms. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

You could take a fecal sample to the vet to do a fecal float to check for worms. Personally, I would not give my birds worm medicine if I didn't know for sure they have worms.

I think most of us have had to deal with worms in our flocks.
The first thing is to determine what species of worm you are dealing with and if the load is such that it requires treatment.
Have you seen worms in the droppings? If so, can you post pictures? The most common worm species seen in chickens in round worm.
