Ooooohhhh....yeah...dress the backside up like the earlier poster suggested. And old wagon wheel would look great hanging there!!! You did a great job on your coop!

Answering some of the questions:

The run is divided into 3 equal areas 10'X20' each.

The PVC pipe is a waterer. It is my BETA version. A 3' section of 4" drain pipe (not sched 40) plus cap and 2 90*s. It is lighter and cheaper to build than a comparable one made out of sched 40. In the plans are an additional waterer and a feeder. But because the feeder will be outside the coop and exposed to rain I am working it over in my brain to try and water proof it. Also on tap is a Little Giant model 2500 auto water fountain, just haven't had the time to get it in the works. Final plan are to include 2 independent sources of water and a feeder in each area.

Back wall, I am hoping to leave it just like it is, I am not much of an artsy-fartsy kinda guy. I wouldn't know design if it was a stone in my shoe. I can build, I can do carpenter, plumbing, electrical, concrete, roofing, welding and all manner of construction trades, but I ain't got no eye for the art.

Cost. Well the including the cost of the run and all building materials I ended up a about 15% over my $500 budget. Understand that if I had to do it again it would be much more over budget, because I managed to use allot of stored building material I had here on my place. With that supply depleted a second project would cost maybe up to 50% more.

Multiple runs. Well we are on our 3rd day. The first run I put them in is the front run. That is the run I walk in to access the coop, waterers and feeders. The grass was a bit worn starting out, because of the traffic of me building. I kept them in that section only 12 hours, and it looks like a bomb went off, the plantings are trampled, grazed heavily. The evening of the first day I moved them into the righthand back third, now we are on the second day in that run. The growth in that run was much more thick, heavier, and green. It is also showing signs of devistation. Maybe my 3 runs of 10'X20' are not big enough.
