I don't think you are going to save the grass if that was your intention. Obviously it will last longer than a single run but the grass will be gone in weeks. Nice looking coop. Tell your wife "its a chicken coop"!!!.

I like the metal on the back. I would not even paint it. How about a few photo's of the interior. And how large is it? Outside looks like you have put thought into the design. Very nice.
