Chickens bathing in saw dust???

Is it safe for my chickens to bath in pecan saw dust? I let my chickens free roam during the day to get rid of bugs and to let them run around. We have a place in the yard that we cut boards at, and I started to notice my chicks would go over there and roll in it. I was wondering if it would hurt them in anyway. I think it's cute, but I want to make sure its safe for them.

Thank you and they love it to death. I think its adorable that they do that, and I would have hate to start shoeing them away from it.
