Chickens chasing rabbit out of yard

Gotta love my pullets helping me get my neighbor's rabbit out of my yard. The girls helped me flush it out from the brush.

After an hour of trying to catch the rabbit for the second time today, I let the girls out and they flushed it into the open so I could get it out of the yard. They've been great at chasing squirrels too. Who knew?

Mine do the same thing! It sure is funny, isn't it?! They're like little guard dogs that lay eggs!

Haha! I have one 100# guard dog but I didn't know I had 3 pint size guards! Woohoo for chickens! I don't even have any roos.

I don't have roos either. One of my hens even chases away bigger animals like cats, ravens and once she even charged a small deer!

Mine grew up with rabbits (cottontails) and couldn't care less. They often feed together but do stay about a foot apart. Snakes they chase. go figure.
