CHICKENS CROP SQUISHY AND WARM AND SMELLS LIKE SOUR VOMIT

It could be sour crop, but usually that's brought on by another issue. You can treat it the same way you would a yeast infection for yourself
I have never had a sick chicken before so how do I do that, what do you think the other issues could be? If I think about it she have had a lot more greens, whole grains in the past couple of days than normal so mabye that is what caused it. Could she be egg bound or do you think it’s sour crop?

Also where I live it’s already dark so she has gone to bed.should I wait until next morning to begin treating her?
I really wouldn't, but that's me.

She could be eggbound too, but a sour smelling and non-functional crop is sour crop. As to what else it is, I can't tell you. My birds that have had it either ended up not making it due to becoming too weak, or managerld to get strong enough during treatment that they were able to fix whatever caused it.

@azygous knows what the medication is, I'm not home right now so I can't go find the label

I have isolated her in a little coop. To see if it’s sour crop I need to wait until tomorrow to see if it will empty. If her crop is empty tomorrow I would think she would be egg bound. I unfortunately can’t really do anything right now bc all the shops are closed. She doesn’t seem too weak right now,she can walk a little better now,im just really worried and she is my favorite hen

Hard to see her stance in the videos but if she's walking funny or standing like penguin there is usually something wrong at the rear end... Check her belly area between her legs and vent for any lumps, swelling or squishiness. When was her last egg? What does her poop look like?

If she is laying eggs and could be egg bound I'd get her a calcium supplement (calcium citrate or tums) and give her a warm bath. Neither will hurt if she isn't egg bound.

She also definitely has a crop issue. Egg binding can block the digestive tract depending on where the egg is stuck, which causes sour crop since the food as no where to move and just starts fermenting. Eating things like long grass, hay, etc can also knot up in the digestive tract causing a blockage. Here is a good article on how to treat crop issues:

She is right now on her winter break and isn’t laying. But she could start laying again any day now. I haven’t watched her poop but what I can see from the coop all poops looks fine but she hasn’t pooped for a couple hours after I have found her and she is currently sleeping but when I wake up tomorrow I will watch if there is any poop.

Here's what I use. I push roughly an inch of the cream into an applicator, open the beak and push the lever in. Do that 2x a day (you can reuse the applicator for the bird) for 7 days.
