Chickens disappearing.

Yes, you need to find out how they got to the barn ... Are you sure they were actually in the coop when they disappeared? Or maybe they were left out? Or taken before it was nighty time?

Update... So after putting up a game cam I found the culprit. A stray cat... The door of the coop I left a 2in slot in bottom of door, but covered slot with plastic mesh. And a baby gate so when the door is open it keeps my pet micro pig out. The cat was climbing the gate and mesh, squeezing it itself between the mesh and full door. And getting into the coop that way, getting out in reverse. Thankfully, it didn't carry off a chicken whilst being caught on cam. The fix was to re slot the door and build another 18in x 6" window 5ft off the ground covered with mesh screen. The building is covered with metal siding so nothing should be able to climb the wall to get in.

If I'm following you right, you are saying the cat is entering and exiting via a 2" slot in the door?

So how did it get the chicken out?
