Chickens don't like watermelon?????

How odd!

It's HOT HOT HOT ( 96) out there and I have the sprinkler on and gave them some watermelon. No interest! Really?????

Our chickens always loved watermelon- they would peck it down the outer rind. Maybe you should turn off the sprinklers- they probably think it's raining

My chickens are ODD. They only treats they like are yogurt and eggs and meal worms. Nothing else seems to interest them.

Mine go crazy for watermelons, what's up with your chickens LOL! Ice cold on a hot day they are in heaven and they pick it down to the rind.

Ha! That is what I am thinking. I was expecting them to go all crazy and they looked at me like this is not eggs! Or yogurt!

I haven't tried the watermelon but my chickens love spinach and won't eat regular lettuce!!

I put the watermelon rinds into my fish pond and they eat it down to paper thin. My chickens get all the other usual treats.

Our chickies LOVE watermelon. They attacked the thing and pecked it completely gone, rind and all, down to the skin. Just the thin green skin was all that was left! ha! But I think so far, raisins are still their favorite.
