Chickens dying, shaking. Whats goin on?

Yeah, those nipples are basically what I have. They peck at the little silver nipple to release water but it lets out more then they need. Needless to say, it ends up on the floor.

I looked around today and came across a place that sells those little cups. Same sorta deal, they plug into a pvc pipe, are about the size of a 1/4 measuring cup. Have not read anything negative about them.


I was just out in the pen checking on the birds. How long does it take for that Sulmet stuff to work? I swear, it's only been a few hours, but the two that looked like they were getting sick are up and running around and the one isn't hunched over/ruffled up anymore. All the times I raised chickens, never have I encountered anything like this. Thank god for the internet and all you who have been there, done that

Have a coulple pork shoulders in my smoker right now that need attending. Hopefully tomorrow I will have some time to snap a few pics of the soon to be egg layers and see if anyone can tell me just what the heck they are. I have a good idea, but ya never know. MeatHunter, I hear some of these are better than others depending on the brand. I'm going to try the ones from teksupply.
