Chickens dying

They do not have to have bloody poops to have coccidiosis. The puffed up or hunched appearance of your dying chicken does look like possible coccidiosis, so I would take Dawg23’s advice to buy Corid (amprollium) and start treatment for coccidiosis. Give 2 tsp of the liquid Corid per gallon of water for 5-7 days. If using the powder, use 1 1/2 tsp per gallon.
Ok I will grab it and give it a shot. I just posted it looks like 2 more are passing. My other chickens coul is very close to theres so I need to get them moved

Can you change the type of heat source you are using so they have a better way to get away from the heat if the don’t need it (like a flat panel heater or mother heating pad)? I’d also treat for coccidiocis. Sorry you’re dealing with this :hit

I would also look at the fact that they may be overheated. Do you have a thermometer that you can put under the lamp on the floor? If you are using the red bulbs, they can be too hot in a small coop. It is hard to find an incandescent lightbulb nowadays, but if you can find one or teo, that may be better. I hoarded a lot of the 75 and 100 watt ones before they took them off the market. 60 watts are probably gone as well.

They really should not need heat if they are fully feathered and grown.

Can you go to TSC or a local farm store before they close today? Try to get the liquid Corid and give them each 2 drops orally before you mix it in the water. If you cannot get it tonight, I would get some buttermilk and give them some by holding a lid up to the beaks to get them drinking.
I am at tractor supply now so give each chicken 2 drops. All of the flock to be safe? Do I still out in water too? My other chickens coul is really close to theirs.

What temp should it be. It doesnt feel warm to me in there but what do I know. I will get a therm.

It should not be warmer than 60 or 70 under the light. If they are over 2 months, they should not need a light at all.

Yes you put the Corid in the water, and give any chicken that seems ill the 2 drops of Corid, and repeat it twice a day if one seems weak or particularly sick.
Okay I'm here now and figuring the amount to give each. Got thermometers as well.
