chickens eating duck food???

Hi! I have a bunch of chickens and ducks that live in the same coop and pen. My question is; can chickens eat duck food? If not, is there a type of food that they both can eat and the chickens would still have good egg production? I would rather not have to buy 2 separate foods and then try to make sure that they both eat their own food. Any help is very appreciated. Thanks, taylor

when i had ducks and chickens, i always bought game bird feed for both of them...the chickens acted like it was heroin or something, the way they lost their minds at feeding time.
