Fall bear is sweet and delicious. One of my favorites.

Spring bear....... is awful. Greasy, rank, smells like the crap it's been scrounging to find after a long winter. Can't even make decent pepperoni or summer sausage with fall bear. Unless it's a nuisance, I won't kill one until Sept/Oct.

I would have a problem eating a carnivore. I know chickens are omnivores and that's the difference I think. But eating a legit carnivore? I don't know

I would never eat a dog, cat, horse, etc.. but I do eat cows, chicken, etc. I think its just morals.. my cats and dogs live in the house with me, they are my best friends. I love my chickens, but they aren't my best friends. I also take into consideration that over years and years, we've bred chickens and cows and pigs for food. They aren't meant to live, they get so stinkin fat, life isn't worth living for them.

It all about different culture upbringing way of life. In Korea, dog meat is consume but not like when my mom grew up. Younger contemporary Koreans associate dogs more as pets. While the older generation see dogs as either depending if it grew as a pet or it was intentionally bought for consumption.

Very interesting to see how some societies views dogs as a human companion or a source of food. I could try dog meat as long as I never get to see the dog killed.
