Chickens for brush clearing

We don't rent pigs.

Part of the chicken yard was overgrown with poison oak and brambles when we first moved in, but I hired a brush removal service to clear it out, and so far the chickens have kept it clean. Occasionally I'll see a new poison oak sprout, but it sticks out like a sore thumb in a sea of dirt so I just hit it with roundup.
I was hoping to make use of what I already have, which is lots and lots of chickens.

One possibility: every time the chicken yard seems bare, add fencing to make it bigger. That way they could continue to keep the old area bare while starting to work on a new one. (This will not clear large areas fast, but might keep the "cleared" area actually clear while slowly expanding it.)

Of course, if I make the chicken yard bigger, then I will need to get more chickens to utilize the space. Funny how "more chickens" seems to be the solution to everything in life...

I guess pigs would be out as well? Someone pulled up while I was out clearing bramble and suggested I get pigs to do the work for me, because they're supposedly great at uprooting things.
Just please don't let pigs escape.
Our neighbors had the same idea, but didn't consider their fences. Its not much fun having 20 pigs crashing all around ones garden!
