Chickens for Christmas for this newby

Hi all
I bought myself some chickens for Christmas.
I've not owned chickens since my family had them when i was young.
I have 3 RIRs. (really hoping they are girls)
I live in Perth, Western
Australia.
Also own 3 cats (Ragdoll and 2 moggie
