Chickens = Garbage Disposal?

From what I have read on here and in my book it seems like chickens are garbage disposals. I am trying to get an idea of what I can and can't give them. I plan on giving them fruit/veggies that are too old for me but ok for them. They can have what the dog doesn't get off the cutting board lol.

As far as leftovers go.....what can't they have?

I guess the question is.....what do YOU feed your chickens??

read the treat chart on dos and don'ts. mine will eat just about anything. lasagna, frogs, cottage cheese, roaches, cereal, and they especially love chicken.

I treat mine as garbage disposers. Any kitchen scraps and past-date leftovers go right to them. They love it!
