Chickens=Good Mood

I may be going crazy now that I'm a chicken owner, but it seems like no matter what kind of a day, it always lifts my mood up a bit to go out and see the chickens

Anyone else agree?

I couldn't agree more.

Not only do my chickens/ducks/geese make me happy, but my physician has lowered my blood pressure medication since I started keeping chickens.

I can be in the foulest mood and my fowl will cheer me right up.

I can hardly wait to get home from work every evening during the week so I can have some time to spend watching them just be chickens. Of course, it does help that Molly, a BA, always comes to see me and she tells me everything that has transpired throughout the day. She's one of those constant mumblers, always bok-bok-bokking about something. I bet I'd learn a whole lot of flock gossip if I could just understand Cluck!

The best time of the day for me is in the morning, sitting out with the chickens as they eat their breakfast. It's wonderful.
