Chickens HATE Santa hats, in case you're wondering (PICS)

My friend's daughter Calista was over for the weekend and we went shopping to buy some props for the photo studio. I figured I would test the set up on her.

Her response, "Nugget needs a Santa hat too!"

Of course, the chicken does, how stupid of me!

So I made some chicken hats out of felt and pipe cleaners and photos ensued. Nugget (big black silkie) acted like she was dying. She just laid her neck flat on the ground! The little yellow mutt chickie would hold still for a second and then shake it off.

Got her to sit up for a second...
