Chickens have runny poop and are barfing... help!

Are you Eastern time? 11pm is quite late for a hen to lay. Maybe she is trying to roost in the nest?

I always keep Nutri-Drench on hand but I give all of my chickens, newly hatched and elders, 3X weekly Durvet Vitamins and Electrolytes for poultry in this TN summer heat. 1 tiny scoop (included) per gallon. I get it at TSC. Lasts a long time.

ETA: My chickens will throw up if they drink allot of water then bend down to eat. And the runny poo could be from heat and/or dehydration.

I'm new to chickens and mine are scheduled to lay their first eggs in the next few weeks, so I'm not completely familiar to normal egg laying time … and it's quite odd for them to sleep in the nesting boxes.. they are usually all snuggled up next to each other either on the roost or on the edges of the boxes, but I guess she just wanted a little space

Also, thank you for the nutri-drench and electrolyte tips!!

That would explain a lot!! Makes a whole lot of sense!

Thank you so much!
