Chickens in cities with chicken ban

Do you live in a city that bans chickens, if so, do you...

Actually just curious what others have done in a this situation. I am unfortunately not moving, so will also not be able to have chickens. I am surprised how many have moved just to have chickens. I was expecting more people secretly having couple peeps, but evidently not so.
So not asking this to get recommendations what I should do, but to see what others have done.
:hit

Exactly! I so wish I could have some, I don't think I could do the indoor chicks, I have two small Italian greyhounds and don't trust them around birds or squirrels... can't even say any word that reminds squirrel without getting the crazy going on. Plus I work long days (10-12 hours), no way I can come home on my lunch just to change chicken diapers. :D So I think it will be just dreaming for me. We have just a sliver of yard on both sides of the house, so maybe one day I might try to talk with my neighbor to see what they would think of it, just to see if they would be ok with couple quiet peeps...
I already made my husband to promise that our next house will be where I can have a big garden, some chickens and goats... and you know, the list just keeps growing. I am a country girl in my heart.

I live where chickens are allowed, but Roosters are not. Funny thing is as I sit out in the morning drinking my coffee I hear at least 5 Roosters crowing in the neighborhood. They are, after all, chickens right

I'm in same type area. NO ROOSTERS. There is a reason for that,,, actually 2 reasons. The primary reason is the noise they create, which is a nuisance to those not wanting to be waken by them.
Hate to mention this but is more common than many think. Cock Fighting for money gambling. Same as Dog Fighting.

I was wondering if that is still going on... I mean the cock fighting. Sad, discusting and despicable!

I think a lot depends on your neighbors. If they are okay with it, probably no issue.
