Chickens in Slow Motion

Here is a new video I took today of my ducks in their baby pool out front of my house.

Finally! A new video! Okay, it's nothing I set out to catch and is kind of a repeat of some that have been posted... But it's something, right? Crash gets excited and tries to fly every time we go outside, so I had my camera ready to catch her this time. She does get both feet off the ground at least once, possibly more. Then, she lives up to her name.

As it turns out, my roosters are a bit shy about, err, 'performing' for the camera, so it's proven a challenge to get a mating video. Next attempt will be to hope one of them gets down to business close enough to the front window during free range time so that I can sneak a video without them knowing. (Which doesn't sound creepy at all, does it? )

Crash is adorable! I was really rooting for her to take flight, was like a slo mo crash too, such a sweetheart!

One of my chickens likes to fly on the higher spot she can get and one is on top of the gate. I managed to get some videos and by chance I took them in slow motion mode.

She is sooo pretty! My calls fly very well. I'll have to see if I can capture it.

Oooh, good luck! I hope you catch it! Crash can fly when she decides to (as a matter of fact, the very day after I posted that, since I was not expecting anything out of the ordinary and so didn't have my phone out ready to record, she took off flying when I took her outside! ), but most of the time she just does exactly what she did in that video.
