Hope this works. Here are a few of the pictures I took today of the chickens venturing out tentatively as the snow receded. After nearly 3 days and nights in the little coop area, they had had enough.

A hardier soul. Number 77 AKA Henrietta

However, note one foot up off that nasty white stuff

Bett yet, let's dodge it altogether

Had enough of this -- going home

I love those photos! Thank you so much for sharing them! #77 Henrietta was very resourceful!

I'll never have snow here, so I really appreciate those of y'all who do experience it with your flock(s).

Just rain and wind, here. With muck in the run, making dirty chickens. *sigh*

Aloha,

These are cute pictures! If my hens saw snow they would probably get frantic, like the ski is falling!

Seeing that it only snows on the mountain. Thank you for sharing.

My girls hate the snow, and refused to walk in it for the most part. Good thing they can fly pretty well even for fatties!! the real problem came when it was time to come back home to the roost - quite the scene as they tried to find a way back in without having to walk in the snow. Oh those hens.... Maybe it's a BO kind of thing.
