Sorry man. My brother went through that. Only he was too young for it. In his 20s. He learned that 128 oz of MtDew a day could catch up to you.

She's hoping for eggs, and asked to use one of my incubators.  Advances in artificial lighting and feed supplements do allow reptiles to have a longer lifespan.  We also have two turtles, a map turtle and a red eared slider.
My understanding is that they lay their eggs in composty material, and they cook from the natural heat.  You might use the incubator, and put the eggs in a container in some damp peat or leaf litter.

Reptiles are so cool! I keep four snakes currently, and a 90 gal freshwater fish tank. Your right LG, im sure Walnut has looked into it but reptile eggs are Very different from poultry eggs. They have a soft leathery shell, and turning them even slightly one time, would result in drowned embryos! Best to cover them in vermiculite like you use in tour garden. There are alot of nice lights out in the reptile world and theyve come a long way in learning how to keep reptiles alive in captivity. 20 years ago, half the things not just "avalible" but neccesary, didnt exist at all.
