#1 son showed me the best thing I've ever come across for getting the fish smell off your hands: Wash your hands in the sink with soap, then rub them over the stainless steel faucet...works like a charm

I'll have to try that sometime. I usually just take a lemon slice and rub that between my hands then wash. Saving lemon for other things is okay by me

I rinse my hands in vinegar, then wash with dish detergent.
