Here's my new baby. He's my first partridge chick. I love his coloring. Especially around the eyes. He's doing better. No more happy feet. But he takes two steps to the left, then two steps to the right...then goes forward.
There was a hardened mass of poop inside the cavity, just like pasty butt, but inside. Food maybe not totally digested. Like either dumped directly into the body, or something ruptured and then dumped. It would have never survived, so that was a merciful cull

Any chance the medium sized combs are pullets? If not I have a grip of cockerels in this batch.
Hard to tell on the phone, but they do look pretty boyish. How are the tail feathers in relation to the combs? On mine, the girls tail feathers grow out much more quickly.
