I got my incutkit!!!! Yesteady in the mail. So I am going to swap out the thermostat and heater. Since it has a fan it now can incubate at 99.5!!! Lol!!!

Nah, that's only during lockdown. I moved the 15 healthy chicks to the outside brooder this weekend, and they are doing great. Nice looking batch of chicks this time. I will be moving the previous batch to the coop this weekend, unless Joaquin stays on that westerly path

Chicken with spots. You knew she meant the chicken with spots. If you will go back and look at the picture, that chicken also had a very prominent black spot on its wattle, so you get another

I gave him his meds this morning so now we wait and see......it does have a spot on its wattles???.....oh.....see I was thing the hmong chick that I hatched not the SLP. So.....my fault. Nothing of the right chicken. No my hen still has the spots on her wattles. White and black. But she's is a ting just fine. No sign of pain discomfort. She still lays me an egg every other day. Eats just fine....so it sucks that this happened to her and my flock.

Yes, I meant the hen that you posted that you asked about fowl pox... that was the SLP, right? I forgot about the hmong. What's wrong with it now? Glad the other one seems to be fine though.
