Hello and thank you for having us
I dont really know what to say....lol
My Name is Lucy, I am almost 30 weeks pregnant and My husband is Michael he isnt pregnant ha ha
Michael and I have 3 Hens and 1 Rooster , Berleena, Izzy, Fruity and Dougal
We live in the Highlands of Scotland somewhat 12 miles north of Inverness where it can be very cold!!
We love chickens!!
We started using the Brinsea Mini Eco about 2-3 years ago and have had some successful hatchings, which is very exciting,
we actually incubated and hatched Fruity and Dougal
and incubated another 4 eggs from our hens.
We did indeed get 3 out of 4 hatched and they were beautiful, but we hatched 2 roosters and 1 hen so ended up with 3 roosters and 4 hens, so the roosters had to go!
But we still have our big Boy Dougal. (even tho he is a big pansy)
My Parents have recently become fond of the big Faverolle chickens and kindly sent us some eggs to try and Hatch.
3 out of 5 were fertile and but we only hatched 2 out of 5, despite 3 seperate powercuts!!!
Anyway, Im rabbiting on now, I have some questions, so i will begin with those in a new forum thing
But we look forward to chatting to you chicken lovers
