Chickens Like Beer

Lol, my dad gave the chickens some beer a couple days ago.

I had a Mustang/QH Mare that after a good performance she got half a Beer....She loved it...Plus my Maremma Dog loves Beer...Him and my Son share on Hot summer days...

Often give chickens a little beer on an inverted food can. They lap at it then go sleep under the big live oak. One rooster long ago didn't approve and used to knock the can over with his chest and scold the girls with a dance. Guess there's one in every flick, so to speak.

I've actually noticed this too, have to walk 100 feet round trip out of the fenced in area with my legs crossed. Thought I was the only one to know.

I'm sorry this is crude and i apologize. You guys are pretty brave to whip out anything worm shaped around your chickens, y'all do know they can jump about five feet straight up right?

Funny you throw a night crawler on the ground and mine ignore it... throw some wheat sprouts and they don't stop till the last one is gone.

lol, we have a garden roof and ivy growing from it in hopes that it will wrap around the wire(for a cool affect) and the ivy can’t get a foot without the chickens jumping up and grabbing it

Get you some superworms and see if those get ignored. Mine don't like nightcrawlers or earthworms but those superworms are like gold to those birds.
