I did not give baytril I gave her amoxicillin from the vet after the Tylosin was showing little help. She was doing so well for a while eating and drinking on her own cooing at me. When her poops returned to normal I slowly started trying to reintegrate her. I left her outside for 2-3 hours on a “warm” sunny day and I think it was too much for her (I pushed harder than I would have liked to to get her back outside after facing pressure from my SO about being tired of having a house chicken). She went downhill that night and then passed in my arms the next day. I feel pretty bad about it as I can’t help but wonder if I gave her more time to build up strength indoors if she might have made it. Ugh yeah so it was hard on me. I really thought after she made it so long and was showing progress that she might fully recover. She was the sweetest chicken who laid the prettiest green speckled eggs. I had dreams of raising her babies. Such is chicken life I guess. I sure tried to get her back to health.
