Chickens loosing the feathers on their back

I've been noticing that the feathers on the back of my hens have been missing. They look like the feathers have been cut, not pulled out. I wasnt sure if it is because of my rooster, or if its something more serious. the feathers have been missing since january and I havent seen any improvement. Im starting to worry about it.

Probably from the rooster. They will grow back when your chicken moults. I got a few hens from a guy with too many roos. They were nearly bald. But after their moult they looked beautiful.
