Chickens Meet Spaghetti Squash. Or how to keep your chickens busy

I read somewhere on here about putting winter squash into your chickens run, with only holes in it so they can keep themselves busy pecking at it. Well, it seems to work really well. I put out 2 since one was too small for everybody to get around. I still think I should put out 3 since the lower on the pecking order are getting pushed away. I figure they will tire at some point, and the others will have a chance. It's quite funny to watch. Here are some pics of my girls.

They're so cute!!
I made a salad for myself for lunch - well I only MADE it so I could send some goodies out to the girls with my H on his way back to work.......

Then I can sit at my dinningroom table, eat lunch and watch the girls - entertainment at its best!
