Chickens mysteriously appeared in my garden.

The guys are doing well. We have decided to transform a small wooden shed in the garden into a coop for them. For now, they are quite happy just roaming around the garden and sleeping on the tree each night! We might possibly even get some hens, but will research a bit first.

Thank you! I appreciate the help and welcome. So far it looks like these guys are going to stay with us.

Another question - how could I catch them? They are roaming around the garden, but certainly don't want to be picked up... I've tried to herd them into a small enclosure but only managed to get one in. The other two just ran around it.

Try to gain some trust with treats. Chickens are very good motivated. They also feel comfortable with routines. Get a can and put pebbles in it shake it around to get their attention then treat them. They love goodies!
