Well I built my chicken deck yesterday. 2'x4' with a ramp off the end. It was kinda late in the day, but they did scratch a little sawdust out onto it. I'll check when I get home today and see if anyone has ventured into the great unknown.
On edit: I have another question. I keep finding feathers all inside the coup. There is one RIR pullet that they have pulled most of the feathers out of her back, but she isn't bloody. I find all kinds of feathers, white, red, mixed, etc.... Is this normal? Do they shed or are they getting a little rambuxious.
