chickens not layying

i hva e4 laying hens and 1 younger one not layinng yet the last week i hva ebee getting one egg a day if any i have checked many times. they did have mites a few weeks ago and there is still eggs and they were treated but why are they not laying shold i treat them for mites again. they are not free ranged but have a large coop

Are you sure they are not hiding the eggs on you?

i am preatty shere well i put there old watter container back in and now they are all laying exept one maby they didnt like the other container . sorry it toke so long to anser back

Keep in mind that one treatment will not get rid of the mites. You will need to strip and treat the coop and nest boxes and dust the all the birds as well every 7 to 10 days until the bugs are gone. They are very good at hiding away in tiny nooks and crannies and if you miss just a few they repopulate quickly. Spraying the coop with something like Sevin is best since it gets into the hiding places better then dust.
