OK. So today I built my coop and went up to a poultry sale at my local feed store.
i got them home and one even laid an egg (they are light-sussex bantams by the way) and everything was normal.
but then it started to go dark so they went in to roost. but. they decided not to go on the roost, in the corner of the coop. they are pol so i dont know if its natural but they were huddling together so i hung a towel just over them and gave them a cup of porridge. to warm them up.
if you have any suggestions then i would be pleased with anything, thanks in advance!
