I'll revive the thread, even though I'm sure there are a dozen others like it but more current.
I've just noticed pecking in my Amerecauna (sp?) pullet chicks. They are only 5-6 weeks old. It looks like only one seems to be bullying the others. But how do you go about bullying the bully to make them stop? I have a total of 6 chicks. They are in a small coop, but have full access to a 5x10' run. They are only cooped at night. I always keep their feeder full of chick starter and plenty of water. It's clear they've been digging plenty out in the run, and every sort of bug, pest, or good table scrap I get goes to them.
I'm thinking it's a bullying thing, but not sure how to correct it. Thoughts?
