chickens pulling out own feathers

my girls are all 5 month old easter eggers and they're pulling out their own beards. they take regular dust baths and they're already laying eggs and all. i've put stuff in the coop to keep mites away. the heat here is getting excessive and the hubby and i shaded the coop as much as we possibly can to help the girls out. why would they be pulling out their beards?

Maybe they have lice or mites? Make sure they have protein also.

i know they had heat stress and i'm treating them for that but the feathers they're pulling out look wet. i know people say chickens don't sweat but it looks like they did. it was in the 90s here
